AP AGENCY® is a digital agency based in Spain, building websites, running marketing and SEO, and setting up automations for SMB e-commerce and service brands. When one of their clients, Hipofinance, a mortgage brokerage, needed a smarter way to capture and qualify inbound leads from Meta Ads, Aitor Domínguez and his team decided to build something that had never existed for the client before: a mortgage calculator you could actually talk to.

No automated way to qualify mortgage leads at 2 AM

Hipofinance's inbound funnel ran on Meta Ads driving traffic to WhatsApp. The problem: every lead that came in needed a human to reply. There was no way to capture and qualify prospects automatically, around the clock, so leads would arrive at all hours and sit waiting. AP AGENCY® had tried to solve this before with ManyChat, but the logic they needed was too complex to build cleanly. It took hundreds of hours and never quite worked the way they wanted.

The painful part was that there was no automated way to capture and qualify those leads 24/7. It all depended on someone replying manually.

A mortgage calculator you can have a conversation with

AP AGENCY® built the Hipofinance WhatsApp agent on Chatbase and trained it on everything Hipofinance's advisors know: mortgage criteria, calculator logic, and the qualification framework their team uses to assess leads. The result is an agent that walks a prospect through a short conversation on WhatsApp, delivers an estimated monthly mortgage payment in under three minutes, and captures them as a qualified lead before any human needs to get involved. Qualified leads are then pushed directly into the CRM via n8n. The full build, including testing, took 20 to 30 hours.
