Connect Chatbase to Claude and ChatGPT via MCP

You can now connect Chatbase directly to Claude or ChatGPT and manage your agents using plain English. No copying API keys, no engineering help needed.

With MCP, you can ask Claude or ChatGPT to:

• Analyze customer conversations: “What did customers ask about most this week?”
• Update your agent: “Add our new refund policy to the support agent.”
• Check support tickets: “Show me every ticket still waiting on a reply.”
• Create agents: “Spin up an agent trained on our help center.”

How to connect

1. In Claude or ChatGPT, add Chatbase as a connector using https://mcp.chatbase.co/api/mcp

2. Sign in with your normal Chatbase login

3. Choose what the agent is allowed to do

You’re always in control of what the connection can access. Permissions can never exceed your own Chatbase role; deleting and exporting are disabled by default, and access expires after 90 days. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → General → Connected apps.
